Shiva Mills Limited was incorporated in the year 2015 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Shiva Texyarn Limited to takeover the assets and liabilities of Spinning Unit I and certain windmills under the Scheme of Arrangement (Demerger).
The spinning unit was started in the year 1989 with factory at Dindigul, Tamilnadu. The unit has capacity of 39072 spindles with a production capacity of 20 tonnes of cotton yarn per day. The unit specializes in production of 100% cotton yarn for knitting mostly counts 20/1 to 40/1.
The Geo political tensions, due to Russia-Ukraine war, have impacted the export of Tirupur Hosiery Garments, resulting in excess supply of cotton yarn in domestic market leading to substantial price reduction in selling price of yarn. Adding to this, unexpected fluctuations in cotton prices, the Spinning Mills had a negative impact on the financial performance of the financial year 2022-23.

A new model of ‘Kamats Legacy’ with premium dining space was initiated in the year under review through which variety of South Indian dishes from all Southern states of India were introduced. Presently, one owned outlet at Bhandup is operational under the said model.
The increase in turnover and profits is registered due to the recovery post Covid-19 pandemic and also due to revenues from management of Hotel and Restaurants at Silvassa.
The Company has entered in an arrangement with Kamats Worldwide Food Services Private Limited, pursuant to which the Company operates, runs and manages Kamats Silvassa Hotel, a 4 Star Hotel of Kamats Worldwide Food Services Private Limited and its restaurant units situated at Silvassa.
Presently, the Company is a subsidiary of VITS Hotels Worldwide Private Limited and has one subsidiary, namely, Vitizen Hotels Limited.
