Established in 2005, we started commercial operations in February 2006 with manufacturing of cleanroom equipment and furniture. Further in the year 2008, we started manufacturing steel doors which catered to the then existing customers of cleanroom equipment and furniture. Gradually we started expanding the customer base for our products manufactured to healthcare, entertainment and real estate vertical as well.
Presently, we have an installed capacity to manufacture 30,000 doors per month. The facilities to manufacture clean room equipment and furniture and windows is inter- operable, and hence, capacities for the same cannot be conclusively determined.

He started his career as yarn indenting & trading in the year 1975 & gradually moved towards manufacturing of yarn & fabrics. Mr. U.S Lath is the Chairman cum Managing Director of LMEL with vast experience of almost 5 decades with him.
LMEL is exporting to almost 37 countries. Our annual export revenue is more than INR 4000 million & we believe to achieve INR 10,000 Million within 2 years.
The Mumbai-based company derives bulk of its revenue from exports. Since June 2020, the company started manufacturing cotton yarn in its leased unit. Manufacturing facilities are located in Nagpur, Dhamangaon and Nanded (all in Maharashtra).
Escalating raw material costs, particularly cotton and synthetic fibers, pressured our profit margins significantly. Additionally, disruptions in global supply chains and transportation constraints resulted in increased lead times and logistical complexities. These factors necessitated careful management and strategic decision-making to mitigate their impact on our operations.
However, the textile industry encountered its share of challenges. Firstly, the failure of cotton crop due to which the raw material prices were 20%-30% higher than international prices as well as the quality was much poor, resulted upto 30% less production and poor quality of Yarn. This unforeseen natural calamity has forced many spinners to stop production for 2-4 months. Many spinners in the industry have switched from natural fibre to synthetic.

After the historical rise in cotton prices in the last cotton season, the new season cotton prices have reduced and remained at around INR 60-62K/candy. At the same time the yarn prices reduced disproportionately in comparison to yarn prices. On account of higher cotton prices, export of yarn, fabric and garment sector was hit badly. This has reduced in overall demand in textiles and has also affected the textile value chain. Many of the manufacturers in textile industry have operated their facility at partial loads for the last year. The Company also had to operate the facility at partial loads incurring huge costs.
As the quality of our products depends on the raw material quality, so we source the superior quality raw material from farmers/ suppliers. Bale management system is followed for consistent superior yarn quality, and for this, cotton stock is maintained for 5-6 months. In auto coner utmost care is taken for achieving 85% splice strength with defect-free packages.
