Vinyl Sulphone is used as a key raw material in the manufacturing of reactive dyes, which is having application in color pigments, paints, rubber, textiles, plastics and leathers. They react chemically under suitable conditions with cellulose based materials yielding brilliant shades with good fastness properties.
Tanishk_Ojha AR 2013 AksharChem has emerged to be one of world's largest and most reputed Vinyl Sulphone manufacturers exporting over 4000 metric tonnes per annum to three of the worlds leading chemical companies. It started operations in 1989, with a humble capacity of 600 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). In 1994, the Company went public. As on 31.03.2013 it has a manufacturing capacity of 6000 MTPA. Vinyl Sulphone production increased from 3,688 MT in 2011-12 to 5,642 MT; highest ever in the history of the Company. We export almost 90% of our production to world’s most renowned companies and are proud of the fact that the world’s top chemical company procures almost 70% of our production

Tanishk_Ojha AR 2015 In 2014-15, the Company added a new CPC green product division to its bucket through demerger and transfer from Asahi Songwon Colors Limited which is expected to boost the Company’s growth. One of India’s leading dye and pigments manufacturers with over 9240 metric tonnes of production capacity.
Tanishk_Ojha AR 2017 Accounting for 45% share in India’s Vinyl Sulphones exports and 10% share in global cpc Green Pigment manufacturing. During the year under review the Company has successfully completed the process of expansion of CPC Green Plant with the capacity of 160 mtPm and Copper Sulphate (By Product) Plant with the capacity of 25 mtPm.
